my hatred of Obama is from giving us a right wing health care plan and out-Bushing Bush on wars, arms sales, deportations, etc.

Your comment will be ignored because it holds too much truth. My life was pretty good before Obama became president. Almost a year after his presidency, my life got flipped upside down.
-
No. I have problems with his policies, but I don’t hate him. I’ve been public about this. If you do, you have heart issues
-
That’s the problem with where we’re at. It’s ok, in fact it’s full on American, to disagree with policies and it’s our obligation to say so. Obama is an inspiring leader & a great man. Doesn’t mean I agree with every policy but I still have love & respect for him (and Michelle).

Sad to say,America has become a rogue nation. It started with the American made financial crisis.America in their lack of wisdom has made the world more dangerous,by withdrawing from the Iran deal. As a Canadian it would be wrong for Canada to go along with the racist in the WH.
-
I’m sad about your opinion, but I can’t blame any Canadians who feel this way. I still
Canada & Canadians! -
3 of my 4 siblings live in the US,5 of my 6 nieces are Americans. I am sad for u and them, but I don't want my country of choice to get involved.
-
Your comments are a friendly reminder that Canada is damn near close to American politics and most people are just ignoring it because most of us are smug and proudly declare that we're "not as bad as America"...yet. Revisit this tweet in 5 years

We are different in so many ways. The fact that runaway slaves saw Canada as the land of freedom,to the CFL that played black quarterbacks from the mid 50s and having the 1st black commissioner of any sport on the continent.
-
There's a reason that once slavery was abolished in America, many runaway slaves returned to the US. We had the exact same atrocities in Canada as much as America. We just don't teach it at school. We just teach the good parts. White supremacists are emerging from the shadows

I never hated Obama as a person. I never met him. I hated his policies and the direction he took this country. To call people racists for political differences from your platform is irresponsible.
-
Please note that your individual ability to dislike the policies (though hate is a strong emotional word) and not the person doesn’t mean there are others who are racially or hatefully motivated. It denies the larger problem.
-
I respectfully disagree. I speak to a lot of conservatives, I have never heard anyone say anything racially derogatory about Obama. It’s all policy oriented. Calling people racist shuts down a dialog which is bad for the republic.
-
But I agree we should try to rise above the name-calling. But that must be balanced without denying the race problem with our own anecdotal experience. I’ve experienced racism, but I don’t generalize for the whole, I just focus on the individuals who do it, here on Twitter too

Since Obama spoke at the Correspondence dinner while Trump furiously watched, You could see he had it in for Obama. The Steel dossier suggested that Trump had 2 Russian Prostitutes urinate on the Bed at the Ritz in Moscow. The very same bed the Obama’s slept in...

Absolutely correct. He can’t hide his racism and his inferiority when it comes to President Obama.

If this is regarding the Iran Deal, it dangerously erases how US foreign policy has functioned for decades; too simplistic and, also, let's not forget the role John Bolton - hawk, islamophobe and guy who wants regime change in Iran - has to play as well. It's a mix of things.
