how to make this right: 1) Fire ALL the folks who were complicit in humiliating the 3 teenage boys 2) Remove bonuses not just for the store but for region for 5 years 3) Settle with 3 teenagers ... Sensitivity training is nothing when our country is ruled by bigots

to make this right cont'd: 4) The bonuses that the region did not receive should be GIVEN to the 3 teens for their college funds. 5) The funds should be disclosed as a note to their financials

Agree, plus I think it’s even gotten worse since trump and his racist admin are promoting hatred.

And receive more benefit from government including food stamps, free health insurance, use more drug and are drunk driving the most.

Why are these people who are making false allegations not getting into trouble? They are wasting resources but also traumatizing these innocent people

This. ^ Someone made a conscious decision to call the police on these young men. Is an apology enough for what you put them through? Unacceptable. Your policies need more than a little work, @Nordstrom . They need a complete overhaul .

Has there been an uptick in these incidents or has it always been like this & social media is just shining a spotlight on the ugliness? I’m ashamed that I’ve had such blinders on that I actually thought we were past this as a society. How do I help? I’m so disgusted & upset.

It has always been like this. We couldn’t rely on the mainstream media who has always treated these incidents as minor but now we just have solid documentations, thanks to the invention of cameras on cell phones. #yaaas!
