Last night a Black grad student @Yale was studying for finals in the student lounge when she fell asleep.
A white woman called the police on her.
Another Black grad student @Yale told me the same woman called the police on him recently as well.

Imagine that! You can't even study yourself into a stupor without the fear of being reported to police. This is a sad world we live in. These false police reports should be investigated & charged accordingly.

After looking at her student ID and seeing that she lived in the dorm room, why was her information being run to see if she was in the Police system? That was totally unnecessary. How many more times is this going to happen?

Why are the police responding to these calls? Being black and attending college is not a crime. Being Hispanic and buying mints is not a crime. Golfing slowly is not a crime.
