Surrounded by police on all sides, tracked by a helicopter, a group of young Black women come face the face w/ death as they leave an @Airbnb.

Part of the problem, in my opinion, is these people segregate themselves so much that seeing a POC in the neighborhood would seem odd. I can’t imagine living in a neighborhood like that.
-
-
Thanks for the info. I stand corrected.
-
The main problem is always their racism. All excuses otherwise fail. I don't need "people that look like that" to live near me to know they are allowed to be in my neighborhood without me being informed of their presence. She acted on no information other than her ignorance.
-
Very true. You are right, the true root cause of all of this is pure racism. Assuming the worst of someone based on just looking at them.
-
I doubt she really thought they were stealing but she knew the harm calling the police and conniving whatever story she told them, could do to these women. What would she know about that house if she hadn't see they were staying there already? They had suitcases and sunhats
-
That just takes this persons stupidity to a new level. WTF robs a house with a suitcase.
-
I have many neighbors and I couldn't even begin to presume to know who should or shouldn't be at their homes. Some ask that I watch their house if they go away and then I give extra attention. Otherwise I'll need to see "actions of theft" not just people I don't recognize.

Irony is the paranoid WW probably thought she would be a hero... curious if she knew the house was used as Airbnb?
-
She didn't. I read her comments on IG.
-
Guess she knows now! The Airbnb owners might want to amend their listing to say “must wave to white neighbors upon checkout.”
-
Lolololol, Susan, just stop already. You have me crying laughing in church. Ooops, I should not be on twitter in the Lord's house, huh?

Q: are any of the black women or all and the mother of the native American boys filing harassment charges against the white women and if not, why and how do we make that happen. Those white women need to be charged with harassment asap.
-
But what about the millions poured into the marketing campaign "If you see something, say something"?
-
See something, say something is when you see something criminal going on. To see ladies leaving a home that chose not to speak to you... SERIOUSLY!?!?!
-
I was being sarcastic.
-
I see. Never sure about people online. So many trolls. Have a wonderful evening.

Interesting how my city will send me a $100 bill for a false alarm on my security system but I guess no one is sending this neighbor a bill for calling the police for a false alarm
