A friend of mine observed recently that a large part of the pool of white males eager to enter law enforcement significantly overlaps those who are psychologically/philosophically predisposed to join the ranks of the KKK. This together with your stats indicates double trouble.

The Innocence Project @innocence , Equal Justice Initiative @eji_org , and Injustice Anywhere @NJusticAnywhere , are just few of the organizations fighting to reverse the wrongful convictions of innocent people that result from this.

You've got it! Why I support mandatory civil service by all. No deferments, realistic mix of race, class, sexual orientation, heritage... Easy to fear/dehumanize people you've only heard about.

You’re theory probably has some validity to it. However, you say it like they are only hiring white people. If you want to change that... use some of that money you’re trying to generate some college degrees.
