I watched the video, the mix-up excuse is not enough. You know damn well what you were doing when you threatened to call the police on him, I hope your business suffers

Funny how since the publicity of the Starbucks incident, calling the police was thrown out there. Wow
-
I was just thinking that. Instead of shaming and improving things, it's actually given managers a new means to remove the black folk.
-
Come to think of it, I was asked to leave a table a few years ago because another family wanted to be nearer the Sports TV. Since we were half way thru' our meal, I said no. No Police, no harassment, nothing. Gee.....
-
easy solution.. "we'll move, comp the meal..otherwise, bite my ass".

Has there been an uptick of these types of incidents since the election OR is it just brought more into the light? It feels like it’s happening more. I know in our area there has been an increase in incidents involving Latinos since..
-
It’s always been there
-
That I know... it just seems like it’s gotten worse. Like people are braver with their BS now. At least where I live.
-
Definitely are more bold now
-
Yeah. Remember? They don't like politically correct. Unless you call them out for what they and their cult leader are, then they cry like babies.

Racism never went away in this country Donald Trump just made it acceptable to white people to do it open.

America is taken one step forward and taking two steps backward and equality and justice in this country.pic.twitter.com/E9RqWsRron

Honestly, I think the only thing that changed is technology. The racism has remained the same, foreign or domestic.

-
I agree with that 100%. It involve itself in different ways.

Damn I wonder how that man feels now after he found out who the customer was. And this dude is in management?

-
Stuff like this has happened to Oprah...i.e it doesn’t matter who he is only what he is...it has never mattered
-
IDK "who he was" Enough of this emphasis on 'respectability' and socioeconomic status. He wouldn't deserve this if he were a janitor either
-
Yall talking about Opera and janitors - I meant the fact that the customer has hosted numerous parties there.
-
Guess I'm getting a bit sensitive to the emphasis on 'respectability' in so many of these stories. My bad.
