When you aren't being targeted directly by Donald Trump and his policies, having your family members deported or your loved ones put on a banned list, it's easy to say "IGNORE KANYE." But Kanye is normalizing a man that is specifically & quantifiably problematic. It matters.

I absolutely believe that we must stay focused on the greater fight for justice and equality and empowerment. We must. However, we must always forcefully call out ANYBODY who normalizes the bigotry and abuse of Donald Trump. It's not about political parties. It's bigger.

I fundamentally reject the idea that Kanye West is mentally ill and that his support of Trump is a result of that. His family & close friends reject it as well. It's also not a result of his mother dying. I think this move toward Trump-ism is simply the real Kanye.

Kanye and Trump both suffer from the same Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Kanye isn't capable of seeing those issues you named. He doesn't understand the hurt he causes. He is only able to envision how things effect himself, and not other people. He is a sick individual.

k, but it's also an opportunity to understand that one who sometimes makes good music does not necessarily know. anything. else. one can be good at one thing & completely ignorant of most other things. we must stop giving people kneejerk credibility beyond their sphere of ability

Lets think about it this way. POTUS and GOP now own Kanye. They kept using Kanye as a prime example of liberal hollywood being unstable because of his antics. They now own that. Anything he pulls in the future? Can't be attributed to "liberal hollywood"

I think its his way of staying connected with all those at the top i.e Tim Cook and the gang. Its pretty obvious. But yes nonetheless, very disappointing.

Yes to all of this Shaun ... the words and actions of celebrities are carried around the globe. One can either use their words and actions to help or harm others. As they say "To whom much is given, from them much is expected."

I want you tell that to women in Europe whose rapists run free because they're muslims. Go ahead.

No they didn't. I've actually lived in the middle east and nearly all of the people I know over there support Trump very much. And yes, these folks couldn't stand Bush, though Obama disappointed them. You're so full of hate you can't seem to see clearly.

Get over it. He hasn’t said one thing but the truth. They live in America. The best country on earth. Learn what real pain & anguish is. Trump has done nothing to cause anyone pain. Good grief. Grow up. It’s pathetic how much libs play the victim card.
