15. Despite still not being in a campaign, DA Schubert received yet another $25,000 from the Sacramento County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association in October 2016. This came in the wake of so many horrible incidents of police violence. What she did with the money is very problematic.

What I'm about to say is so beyond the pale, so outrageous, that I had to consult several campaign finance experts to verify that I was seeing what I actually thought I was seeing. It's as unethical as anything I've ever seen from a District Attorney.

25. In April's campaign finance filing, Sacramento County DA Anne Marie Schubert revealed that she is getting an in-kind donation from the Sacramento Sheriff. Guess what it's for? RENT, ELECTRICITY, and INTERNET. They appear to be providing FREE OFFICE SPACE for her campaignpic.twitter.com/nZ2N4VB9cg

26. It gets CRIMINAL. The State Auditor of California sent a memo to Sacramento DA Anne Marie Schubert recommending that she file criminal charges against the Sacramento Sheriff Scott Jones. http://www.sacbee.com/news/local/crime/article193668199.html … Schubert, receiving cash & office space from him, declined.

END OF THREAD. For my full report, go to https://theintercept.com/2018/04/25/stephon-clark-police-shooting-district-attorney/ … I've never seen anything like it. Sacramento County DA Anne Marie Schubert is bankrolled by law enforcement. Nearly half a million dollars. No wonder she refuses to ever hold them accountable for ANYTHING.

How did a retired cop get $200,000 *to donate*? I would have to have had a lot more money to be able to donate/loan $200,000. Even if he had given his last savings, he would have had to been well off to have that much cash on hand. A real head scratcher.
