Thank the NRA fighting universal background checks on ALL gun transfers...including family. 4 people were killed in a waffle house today because a "law abiding gun owner" gave his son back the AR15 that was taken away last year after his arrest. No background check required.

Had that been me, I feel my whole family would have been interrogated to no end and it would not be possible to drive 50 miles without a colonoscopy first let alone fly. BTW this kids dad needs to get whatever sentence he gets for providing the weapon.

Laws don’t prevent crimes ever do they? Not 100%. You know it, we all know it. Laws are deterrents and they work in aggregate not individual instances. Try again.

His weapons were confiscated, by local sheriff when IL FOID card was revoked by the IL State Police. They gave the 4 weapons to his father, who had legal FOID card. My question is how did he get them back? Did dad return them to him?
