Yes. From a legal perspective, using those terms as a descriptor of their employee behavior is a blinking red light for lawsuits, or a class action if you find enough people (which likely isn't hard to do, considering the number of stores and customers).

#Starbucks will also delete or mute you if you mention their coffee comes from African farms where there are horrible conditions, a modern slavery that's surpressed. Racism intersection with labor. Ask for#FairTrade certified coffee if they have itThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

He didn’t even answer her question about if anyone asked the store manager why they called the police
-
he never really answered any of her questions straightforwardly

wait what happened

Two black men were waiting in a Starbucks and since they were waiting for a friend, they hadn’t bought anything And an employee called the cops on the two men simply because of that
-
oh yeah blacks don’t have friends lock em up
-
Even recently today (or yesterday) a black man was refused access to the bathroom without a purchase, and he asked a white dude that just got out and hadn’t bought anything. He brought it up to the manager and she ignored him, interrupted him, and called security.
-
I had vaguely heard about that I just didn’t know if this was a different case or if it still pertained to the two black men that I saw on the video during the weekend

They know its racial discrimination. Thats why they won't call it out because they know they participated in it. We shouldnt be surprised at this point.

Then there's the LUNACY of those that STILL think it was 2 black men that had cuffs coming because they "didn't comply" Just what did these SIX cops say once asked "what was their crime??" ACKNOWLEDGE this why continue to make excuses for outright RACISM?!

Agreed. I understand & accept their policies around people being in their stores w/o buying something. That can be an issue for businesses, but the pnt here is that if those 2 guys r white, they go unnoticed & certainly don't get arrested. Pretty clear cut to me.

My experience knowing people who work at Starbucks, it seems to be a company trying to do things the right way, health insurance, diverse hiring... This could be a regional problem. This is an example of how racism exists in current times. Debunking that it's some myth...
