The commissioner is full of it. The DA refused to pursue this because they didn’t see a crime had been committed. Old commish claimed
@Starbucks withdrew the charges. Get the lies straight. But you’re basically telling me is your officers have no common sense.

I attempted to walk home, drunk, on the median of I-90 around 1am. Cop finally pulled in front, asked my name and where I was going. He then apologized for having to cuff me in the back seat as he gave me a ride home while we talked about local mtn bike trails.

This arrest is crap. I can’t tell you how many times I have waited in a Starbucks for 10-15 minutes for a colleague or friend to arrive. Not one time was I asked to “order something or leave”. Gee, I wonder if it’s because I’m white...

Shaun your outrage should be directed at the Police Commissioner, Richard Ross, who found nothing wrong with the conduct of his officers. Normally we'd say, "if only the higher authority was a person of color..."; well he is, same old story. The problem is deeper than we know.
