I read his auto/biography in hs and was fortunate enough to have a progressive enough school that they rented out a theatre to watch Spike Lee’s film of it. As an indigenous person struggling with my identity, i found a lot I could relate to in his writings.

I read the Autobiography of Malcolm X years ago and it changed my perception of who he was. I still have that copy for my kids to read.
