I have a security question. Does the President of the United States have to undergo an FBI background check like everybody else? Or do they get to forgo that by virtue of their election? I seriously doubt Trump could've ever passed one himself.

Yeah think of the possible backlash if a heavily favored majority elected a president and you had a governing body essentially veto the country’s decision.
