I have a security question. Does the President of the United States have to undergo an FBI background check like everybody else? Or do they get to forgo that by virtue of their election? I seriously doubt Trump could've ever passed one himself.

Like maybe we could require a background check before people are allowed to be on the ballot. Along with releasing taxes.

I believe a law needs to be put in place that before becoming a presidential nominee you first need to receive security clearance. I doubt 45 would have ever received it without becoming president
