Not in the same way. But there is a long history of white women being treated like pure and innocent, needing of ongoing nurture etc at the expense of women of colour.

I'll agree to that. I was addressing the perpetual man-child syndrome, but yes, certainly there's not only a history but an ongoing tendency to have pedestals at the ready for white women who allow themselves to be put there.
