Every night in Cairo is a US Saturday night... when moved to the states It took a while to adjust to the fact that malls close at 9pm and even earlier on a Sundays ...

From what I remember every night was full throttle

When I wass there in 2011, we went to a cell phone store at 1 am. People were everywhere, going to & from work. The expressway was packed, a woman walked across the 4 . Even a toy store was open &crowded. I was told that the factories run 24/7. The city never really closes.
