And when I started the Palestine Human Rights Campaign, in the mid 70’s, Jesse Jackson, Joseph Lowery, Ralph Abernathy etc were early supporters. They went to Lebanon, met w/ Arafat. The remarkable Jack O’Dell & I wrote a book back then “Afro-Americans Stand Up for ME Peace”.
