What also infuriated me: 2) The U.S. for a second week in a row blocked a U.N. Security Council statement supporting the right of Palestinians to demonstrate peacefully and endorsing Secretary-General Guterres' call for an independent investigation into deadly protests in Gaza.

Except it wasn't a peaceful demonstration. The Hamas charter calls for genocide of Jews. They continue to fire rockets indiscriminately into Israel and steal money that was intended to aid Palestinians to build terror tunnels and other weapons.

They fired rockets and stole money during the demonstration? And the well-trained sniper saw the journalist in the press vest and blue helmet doing those things? Wow

I do. And I do not hold with their agenda or actions. But are you aware of your prejudice in painting ALL Palestinians as Hamas? all men, women, children and journalists? All deserving of being shot and killed if near the border and even if unarmed? That’s absurd, sir. As wrong.

I’m not someone who believes Israel shouldn’t be criticized but it has to be balanced. That rarely happens in the UN. When you’re negotiating with another party you need honesty. The Hamas charter calls for the destruction of Israel and genocide of Jews. Hard to negotiate w/that

I completely understand your fear & trepidation about Hamas. But it is rare that those who fully support Israel allow for any criticism in the way the country handles Palestinians...as if every one is a terrorist until proven otherwise. It's a dangerous position for all involved

It’s really not that rare. The pushback comes from asking for balanced criticism cuz that happens with far less frequency. Hard to relax when Fatah pays terrorists and invites as does Hamas. @Israellycool Thoughts?
