See where I'm going with this? Bonnie Dumanis managed to give her successor the advantage of the incumbency even though she's NEVER been elected. And how is she running her campaign? Running from her constituents. At the least the ones without big checks.
She has the gall to claim she is "non-political" despite being appointed in a backroom deal made by one of the most corrupt politicians San Diego has ever seen. She's used her influence to oppose criminal justice reform at every turn.
In a county that resoundingly rejected Trump last year - she's desperately hoping people don't find out that she's a right-wing republican.
