This is so true! And I heard just days ago from a former vet who called into a radio show who said officers tend to get narrow focus & need training like they get—specifically trained with loud noises next to them etc. so they don’t overreact in the moment. I’m all for this!

It’s about time. They’re supposed to be all about the rule of law. If the cops have so much latitude as to almost have no rules when it comes to shootings, then you have less rules and the law devolves into popular prejudices.
