Let's not pretend Shaun has any concept of nuance.

Let's not pretend most whites have any idea what it's like to live in fear of being victimized by the justice system the way that blacks so frequently are.

If lives were at stake in your community, if law enforcement and the judicial system was stacked against you and your family, if a huge segment of the American population denied outright that there was even a problem ... how much 'nuance' would *you* give a damn about?

So forgive me if my view of him is jaundiced. When I tote up the damage of him and others like him, I'm not inclined to give the benefit of the doubt.
