Then, on Friday, August 12th, 2016 - the unthinkable happened. While
#DannyRayThomas was in prison for simple drug possession, his ex-wife murdered his two babies. 5-year-old Kayiana and her 7-year-old brother Araylon “Ray Ray” Thomas were drowned, then hidden under a housepic.twitter.com/buGBMggx4B

Do you see those two tears under the eye of
#DannyRayThomas? Those were for his two babies. Imagine the unthinkable pain of having your kids murdered. Now imagine being in prison for your drug addiction while it happened. Broke him into little bitty pieces.pic.twitter.com/SgqBu2VrGK

When
#DannyRayThomas was finally released from prison, he was, as you can imagine, just a hollow shell of his best self. The guilt, pain, and anger were overwhelming. He fought to recover - and tried hard. Damn hard. Every single day. I spoke to people who knew him. Valiant.Show this thread -
So, last Thursday, when bystanders & onlookers saw a very random, confused man stumbling through the streets of Houston with his pants down, the laughed nervously. He needed an ambulance. He needed so much love & healing. Instead, he got a cop.https://twitter.com/RobDownenChron/status/977387735504904192 …

Didn’t need to be killed an ambulance was needed to take him to hospital emotionally disturbed. Have to reason and help sometimes and asked questions. The man was going through a lot.

I thought cops were taught how to interact and contained emotional disturbed people. Mace or baton. Cowardice. Academy don’t teach to shoot unarmed people. That was not proper police procedure
