just wanna clarify. assassination technically just means “politically motivated murder”. i think we should start saying “unarmed black man assassinated by police”. because that’s what this is. it’s not murder. it’s politically motivated, whether consciously or not.

Almost none of the things you described are on the body cam footage; no crime & no positive id. Please explain how you know the guy they found in the area of some broken windows was the perpetrator and broke the law by running from two men who did NOT identify as police officers.
The video I seen showed pretty clearly running and disobeying cops and pulling out a dark object in the dark during disobeying. Don't worry, you can keep saying the "popular opinion" for retweets rather than facts. I've got better things to do

True. People recording arrests at protests, or violent MAGA people and often police because who knows when their body cams are. I'm certain Stephen wasn't counting on it.
