I have just watched videos from the protests and marches going on in Palestine. EVERYTHING about what Israel is doing to the Palestinian people is Apartheid. Period. It's so ugly.

you Shaun, but I think it’s helpful to say “current leadership of Israel” as MANY Jewish Israelis also stand for Palestinian liberation. Passover, the holiday we celebrate at sundown tonight, is about liberation. Language like this can easily be misused by anti-semites
This is not to center white Jews in this fight for liberation, just to say that there is so much hate and misinformation floating around, so our language must be nuanced and careful.

sh you are not allowed to condemn murder of unarmed protesters claiming their own land that is anti-semitism. as usual this will be ignored mainly in the UK as we are in the pocket of Israel & their supporters.
In South Africa it was the ANC and PAC. Comparable story, same roles, different people, time, and place. Certainly armed resistances can cause a degree of death & suffering. Not ok. Doesn't change the fact that apartheid was the underlying reason for it all and needed to end.
