I once had a boss from Turkey. He would come into my office and ask me about character traits of American behavior. About 90% of the time when he would ask me why we did things, the answer was "Because Jesus." And it was true. Blue laws, forbidden behavior, you name it.

This book inspired me to make connections between current racial abuse and racial abuse of the past. We don’t need the lynching tree or the cross. We have police shooting #POC at will but it’s a lynching no less. #StephonClark

Can't call them Christians if they are lynching people.
