An innocent woman protects her life from a violent man and she’s put in prison? The prosecutor’s decision to retry her case is yet one other reason why our criminal justice system is broken. Natalie should never have seen one day of jail time.

That young man who is STILL in Fulton Co. on bond (and has now been placed in the "hole" for 42 days) since MARCH of LAST year for the alleged armed robbery of a basketball (no gun, no basketball evidence) has a family about to fall apart as well as his spirit.
#VandezMccloudy -
ma'am who are you talking about? and why did they attempt to rob a basketball?
-
There's a young man in Fulton Co., GA jail,
#VandezMcCloudy. Mother reached out to me last summer about his very troubling case. Bond originally set at 400K over an incident w/off-duty cops and pickup basketball game that led to current situation; desperately need eyes on this. -
wow, thanks for sharing
. nothing recent came up when I googled his name. -
You won't find much on Google on this case, as no one has written about it... yet. He has a past and was working to get his life together before all of this.https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2014/09/04/inspiration-nation-prison-dog-training-program/15073363/ …

Illinois is known for extremely lax domestic violence laws . If you report DV during divorce proceedings, your attorney will tell you not to ever use the the word “abuse” or you will lose your children to the abuser . You are then forced into joint custody.

This is too heartbreaking. Justice does not exist in this world anymore.
-
Sadly , justice never existed for victims of domestic violence . Law enforcement along with court systems are ignorant about domestic violence . If anything victims of DV are further abused by the very people who should be protecting them and their children .
