Can I just be honest for a moment? Yes, this would be a start, but ultimately change won't come until we have diversity in ALL three branches of gov't. 90%+ white is NOT going to cut it going forward. We have to start replacing the white members of Congress w/minority members.
I have a plan for how we drastically reduce police brutality and unchecked police violence in this country. Two huge Supreme Court cases must be challenged, though, for the plan to work. I wish we could Disarm them. Can't tell you how many times while talking to a cop they put their hand on their gun in daylight when im unarmed. I've got white privileged, but, it still freaks me the f out. I've had cops draw guns on me too by mistake. One trigger pull away...

These two cases are the crux of the problem. Authorizing deadly force with any semblance of "fear" can not be the legal standard. The job is hard and policing is dangerous, but we have to raise the bar and train differently. Won't happen without a change in laws.

Trying to change the prongs/tests that the COURT has been firm on is Too Difficult and time consuming. Add DISQUALIFICATIONS to an officers immunity. If a person is acquitted they automatically have the right to sue, if bodycams/evidence tampered No Immunity Shot in Back..Charged

Die in police custody, No Immunity Misdemeanor (cigarette) charges, NO IMMUNITY. Just a few I was tased in the back 4th try to call 911 not under arrest not warrant. They didn't kill me so they charged me 18 months to trial ACQUITTED 5 years to overcome
