She’s the Donald Trump of the left

The fuck does that even mean? The opposite of racist? Looking out for poor folks rather than the rich? Protector of the environment? Honest? Fucking sign me up.
-
More extreme views than society that’s a public face and has no experience in politics
-
What? I'm trying to piece together your sentence. Her views are not extreme, they just don't align with YOUR views. The end.
-
same could be said about the center or right of center. Everything is on a spectrum, her views are at the far left of the spectrum
-
Duh is it really on a spectrum? Gosh, I had noooooo idea. Sounds like you learned something from a meme and are trying to sound smart. Stick to griping about your own local politicians.
-
OR I have a degree in poli sci, you guess which
-
If you want to play the degree game, I have a master's degree in poli sci. Her views are not extreme. In any other industrialized country they are center or left of center.

Please ask her to put forth a serious green energy policy. Environmental racism is abound with fracked gas power plants being built in low income communities throughout NYS despite the bluster on

Wonder how many people here talking shit would gladly vote for Oprah?
-
I would consider voting for either of them. Both have shown in their public lives, advocacy and statements that they support progressive values and both show willingness and capacity to fully understand and learn about the issues. A great start - tell me more.

So are we entering a new era of celebrity politics?
-
It's still rich people politics, Nixon has name recognition instead of years of dirty business deals with government in exchange for $$$$.

Yes because celebrities with no managerial or gov't experience are the right choice to lead an entire state. No thanks. Having ideas does not qualify a person for office.
-
Your president is a celebrity with no prior government experience. He is still acting like a tv reality star rather than a president. Cynthia might be an actress but look at her platform before shutting her out.
-
I didn't vote for that mess. And anybody can talk a good talk. Governing is hard.

Trying to keep an open mind, but I keep hearing her use "New York" to refer to both the state & NYC specifically. The terms "New York" and "New York City" can't be used interchangeably, as if they're one & the same. They're not. I'm not convinced she gives a shit about upstate.
