There's nothing strange about it. You're assuming that the Democrats want to change the system. They built the system. They only talk about change to pacify voters while maintaining the status quo

Full power that...[checks notes]...they share in an agreement with Republicans because of a coalition of turncoats.pic.twitter.com/1RA201pkSh

They don't have full power because of the Independent Democratic Caucus that votes with the GOP

Nydia knows what’s what with @IDC4NY, and she lives in Ohio. Go Nydia!

Shhh, don't tell anyone, but I used to live in NYC, that's why I know. IDC is evil. Most of their constituents think they're voting in Democrats to do good work not realizing they're Republicans in Dems' clothing.

My understanding is NY has too many Republicans flying the Democratic flag?

Perhaps it's time to consider the possibility that they don't WANT to change some things we think they should change. 13 Democrats voted to lift regulations on the very sorts of banks that caused the financial collapse in 2007. They don't necessarily have the values we think.

As far as I’m concerned ‘liberal’ is the most meaningless word in the dictionary. They feel sorry for the so-called underprivileged just as long as they can maintain their own privileges.

Internally, NY Dems act like 2 separate parties. The "regular Democrats" and the Independent Democratic Conference, which caucuses with Republicans. Frankly, I'm not sure how many of the regular Democrats want this to change

They, too, are receiving 'kick backs' from the mass imprisonment of black & brown men/women! It's absolutely AWFUL!!!

Constituents must put pressure on their representative by calling and writing. The community have to put in some work of they truly want change.
