Have you noticed that Cruz and Cornyn have not set foot in Austin. Who’s the Congressman for that District? Parkland, Austin, Kentucky to name a few in the last 40 days and no change. The most do nothing Congress in History!
Austin is so gerrymandered that each bomb exploded in a different congressional district. Stephan was killed in @RepMcCaul’s (R) district, Draylen was murdered in @RogerWilliamsTX’s (R) district & the 3rd bomb injured a woman in @RepLloydDoggett’s (D) district.
You probably don’t hear this enough but thank you for your diligence and courage. You are appreciated for helping raise awareness for the issues that often go unnoticed.

I agree. I live in San Antonio and work for UT but commuted to Austin daily for 3 1/2 yrs when I worked on major construction projects there at the UT Austin campus.

He’s not white. Therefore he is a suspect first in the eyes of the police.
The police, too often, jump to the wrong conclusion. They too are subject to the baked-in racism of our culture. We have such a long way to go to get justice for all.
Every time news like this isn’t reported widely, its omission defines “white privilege,” top to bottom, #cause the top still rules.
