The students at my school were running one, but the school took over. No longer is about gun control and change, it’s now about first responders with thoughts and prayers. We can’t even make our own sign. I wish I could walk out, but I can’t support them for changing the meaning
Beavercreek High School in Ohio. It was student run and we originally had the support of the staff, but apparently it wasn’t really support. I believe almost no one walked out because what it became. It’s disappointing to go to a school who doesn’t listen to the students
I’m hoping we’re able to eventually. We didn’t know they had changed it that much until yesterday. By that time it was too late to take it back. Thanks you for the support, it’s hard to get it since our city is very conservative.
Proud of you all for denying their need to control the situation. You all will find a way to show them they cannot control everything when the moment is right. Don't stop fighting.
As a teacher, I am proud of these students but in my district we cannot support, or join, but know even if we don’t join you- We see and hear you, and are so proud!!
