Technology companies, like Twitter, Facebook & Snap, need to take a stronger stand. so do service providers like Google, Amazon, and Cloudfare. Finally, payment platforms should prohibit white supremacists from using their services.

@ShaunKing serious question: What do you see as solution(s)? I don't want hate, but I think it is dangerous for social media to act as censors.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Is there a solution to this though? If you give anyone the power to censor any person/group you give them to power to censor every person/group. Who gets to draw the lines? Who gets to decide who's crossed that line? Twitter poll?

Agree. Rather than wasting time quibbling about 1st amendment rights all social media participants should be legally required to use their true identity with a traceable server. Eliminate anonymous posts and bots. Be brazen enough to stand behind the words!!!

Do you blame the rise of Trump on Social Media or blame Trump for the rise in overt acts of hate? Or both?
