They genuinely don't care. It's hard for some of us to wrap our heads around, but we need to realize that there are A LOT of ppl in this country who truly DO NOT CARE about anyone but themselves and their immediate family members. Their thinking is "to hell with everyone else."

The people who tell refugees to go home are not Native Americans and therefore also moved to this country. Maybe they should “go home” first. Be the change you want to see, right? Or is someone’s home where they feel safe and not necessarily where they were born?

There is a huge difference between an economic migrant and someone who is fleeing a war zone. What a pity that you cannot understand this. Also, why flee to countries thousands of miles away if there are other safe countries closer to home?
