I'd say that those who harbor hatred and bigotry are becoming more emboldened... not necessarily that their views are spreading. A short time ago they hid their views; now they wear it as a badge of honor. Sadly, there are more of them than many (but certainly not all) expected.
Hatred and bigotry are spreading and rising all over the world.
It's important to understand that what we see happening right here in the United States is being copied and mocked around the world.
People watch us closely.
