No surprise. Republicans have made it clear that they are not welcome in the USA and are most certainly not considered American. Tories doing same to EU nationals in the U.K.
The spouses, children, siblings, and survivors of bigotry in America are suffering with PTSD, depression, and suicidal ideation.
