I am white. I am a Republican. I did not vote for Trump.

Will you still be a Republican when this is over? Because I think your party has left you behind in its mad race for money and power.
-
In all seriousness, I may not be. Years ago, I suspected Trump would try to run for office. It wasn't until 2015 when I realized he may win, and that filled my heart with dread. Whatever hold he has on my peers, I simply do not understand it.
-
I don't either. I was raised to be a middle of the road, fiscally right leaning Republican. Coming out made me firmly left leaning after the behavior of many on the Right. The "I've got mine, screw you" mentality is so sad.
-
Well, my history is long and weird. My ancestor is a founding father, so there's that. And my dad's family was Quaker for 300+ yrs. So I lean toward being an R, but I also can't stand injustice. DJT administration is unjust on so many levels.
-
I think the baseness and criminality is what bothers me the most. I would have been unhappy if Romney had run and won, but I wouldn't have been terrified every day or disgusted. The whole administration is corrupt.
-
Yes! Same here! That's what bothers me w/Trump--feeling terrified. The issues with North Korea scare me the most.

56% of white women voted for him last I saw. A far larger percentage of Republican white women voted for him. But yes over half of ALL white women voted for him.

White women who don’t vote don’t count. People who don’t vote don’t count. And the only ones among them who have an excuse that is in any way admissible are people who didn’t vote because of voter suppression.
