So I’m reading that thousands of victims were violated in the name of God, but it was a long time ago, so they should just forget about it to be fair to the institution that protected their abusers allowing for the abuse of more kids?

I can understand the Church’s stance. If the time to due is increased, the Church may actually have to clean up its act!

I feel like fighting against this is to protect....skeletons...

People really need to find God because there’s just no common decency anymore. People have lost their entire mind and don’t know what’s right and what’s wrong.

Then he accepts the responsibility of making sure these victims are counseled, taking them by the hand in discretion to make things right then & there. I don't think so, but if he did, what would it cost the victim since money influences the Church like it does politicians.

They extended the time in Hawaii. It made it possible for many to find healing.

He is taking up the position of being AGAINST justice for VICTIMS! This is in direct opposition to the Christ he claims to be Lord & Savior of his life!

Not surprising — the church is at great risk. But deplorable.

I do agree that it needs be a time limit on it but I do believe the age should be raised! Trauma like rape, molestation and psyche issues sometimes are triggered way past time of abuse. Give people time to confront their past, dead or not- church deal with it!
