For months, I worked (successfully) to identify & arrest the Neo-Nazis & white supremacists in Charlottesville. Heather Heyer, who was murdered there, volunteered for my projects. Shame on any person calling me anti-Semitic or comparing me to Donald Trump right now. Shameful.

This is an over the top response to those who had a different POV. Dont paint all opines as bullying positions, thats not fair either

Nah. You don't see what I see. Literally have @ replies and emails from actual humans calling me a bigot, anti-semitic, comparing me to Trump, etc.

So, you are defending Farrakhan or not? Because in my eyes, he's just as much of a dinosaur and the old way of thinking as the people he fought. Anti-semitism is just as repugnant as any form of racism, and if you can't come to terms with that, then you have a problem.

I don't want your silence at all. But recognizing that Farrakhan holds anti-semetic beliefs and anti LGBTQ beliefs, and publicly pushes those ideas, and denouncing them instead of defending him because of some of the good he's done would go a long way. He's a bigot.

You had the opportunity to reflect on your choice to voice support of a known anti-Semite, but instead you dug in your heels and lashed out further.

I respect you and your work. I think your heart is likely in the right place. That said, all of your statements have centered on how you feel and not on the marginalized communities being hurt. That’s a problem you can correct.

it's an important question. Do you think there's room for Farrakhan in your movement? And if the answer is nuanced, we have to ask whether the nuance would be similar if he weren't black and his bigotry weren't directed at Jews.

Farrakhan should b epressured 2 quit spreading harmful conspiracy theories against Jewish people. That's one simple truth in this

It appears that most people aren’t doing this (not that I’m doubting many are). Most are asking you to be reflective. As you said, this is complicated. It’s going to require nuanced conversation.
