Here in Oregon we have Dead Indian Road. But they changed it to Dead Indian MEMORIAL road. 
Georgia has a creek that is officially named "Runaway Negro Creek." 100 years ago it was called "Runaway Nigger Creek." In 2018, they are finally going to go ahead and change the name. Yeah. I like the idea of freedom creek but I would want to keep the old name

I don’t want any of my history to be forgotten. I want generations to come to be grateful of their freedom and to remember that they always didn’t have it. It would be easy to overlook the history of something name Freedom Creek not so much the latter.
