No liberal leader will ever criticize anyone by name over ideology, period, but moderates are happy to do so. Think about it. Have you ever heard any elected liberal Democrat call out any other elected reactionary Democrat by name over political economy. https://twitter.com/Rooz739/status/971401099541385216 …

Bernie and Warren come closest, but they don't do it by name and they certainly don't support primary challenges to their colleagues. Only place this is happening is against Lipinksi, basically over abortion.

Go look Matt.

Yes. Elizabeth Warren calling out Democratic Senate colleagues by names yesterday seemed like a really significant change of strategy.

First time I had ever seen it.

Is the tweet the only place? That's significant.

This is why I'm a Warren supporter. She's the only Democrat who really can see the contours of what it means to govern and is willing to entertain costs to do so. Is there anyone else anywhere? Seems like the GOP is happy to debate internally, even roughly.

“Cost containment” seems to prioritized over progress by most elected Democrats.

She's getting closer, and she's the best of the Democrats. She doesn't really get credit for doing this because liberals don't like it. And where are all the activist groups on this who say they care about racial justice but ignore a bank bill that allows discrimination?

Look at the backlash Gillibrand suffered for taking a swing at Franken and you'll see party > values.
