It's all in how u raise them. My son has learning disabilities, yet manages to be politically well informed, as opposed to many so called "neurotypical" US voters.

Yup. That's why I stay in MA. Very few states where I would raise my kids. Course that's a privilege I had when I worked.

I hear you ShaunKing but I disagree. Voting rights should be held by legal adults. Our younger generations are extremely brilliant, resourceful, etc., but I think we should stop pulling these children/young people into adult space. It’s coming, just wait.

Also, young ppl still have energy, fresh ideas & vivid moral values. Society encourages to discard them as utopian and get in line - and after school the struggle of making a living/starting a career kicks in and distracts from politics. DO enable them and they‘ll stay active.
