Hate is taught. It is passed down from father to child.
But once you grow up it is your job to educate yourself on the social issues of today, to form your own opinion based on what you know to be true and good.

My auntie married a black man & my grandfather banned her from the family. Seeing his 1st grandkid, who was mixed, the first time was all it took to erase a lifetime of racism. Being the 2nd grandkid I never would have guessed he once was a bigot. Love is more powerful than hate!

BUT SADLY...this is NOT what public schools are set up to do...teach children to educate themselves through reading and critical analysis of history/social issues, etc., determine who they are as individuals, and how to have rational discourse abt these things in civil society.
