The next Black artist who preforms the National Anthem for the NFL should sing all the verses. That would be the end of the National Anthem at all sporting events.

I always thought that everyone stands for the flag as a symbol of unity, or the promise of unity. It is one of the few times we all come together,of every race, to do something as one. The same. United. Awesome. Powerful.

They made it about the flag when it never was. Turn the conversation....truth is....was always about police brutality. Which continues to happen to humans with darker skin.

When and where did you serve Shaun ? What unit were you in ? How many friends did you send home with that flag draped over them ? There are rules for respecting the flag. For someone looking for respect, you're not showing much.
