Again. I’ll say it a thousand times. What Tamika tweeted was not anti-Semitic. It wasn’t even about Jewish people in general. In the Black Church tradition we often compare our enemies to the enemies of Jesus. I’ve done it. It has NOTHING to do with hate speech. I’m pretty disappointed in you. You can’t tell someone why they should or shouldn’t be offended, if they are then you learn and grow to amend your behaviour. Jewish people have a long history of being abused, something that black people know a thing or two about.

Wow. “You took it that way.” Thanks! I’m gonna use that as my argument against racism going forward. I’m not going to listen to PoC and what they say, I’m just going to argue that they took racism the wrong way! Thanks for continuing blood libles, bro!

Shaun, can you not understand WHY many might interpret it that way? I'm sure you're correct, that this interpretation was not intent. Yet we have seen antisemites employ precisely that rhetoric as well. Yes, many shall find it disconcerting

Sorry but I don't believe it. But even if that was the case, I think this whole situation could be handled a lot better. You could have defended the tweet without simultaneously outright dismissing Jews. This is basically the "sorry you're offended" defense.
