Shuan, you (correctly) tell us to acknowledge our blindspots and grow from them. I think it's important to listen to Jewish people when they say that doubling down on support for Farrakhan is offensive and antisemitic.

An adequate parallel would perhaps be if I associated with, and then defended David Duke or any other prominent racist. There is no room for acceptance of someone who spews hateful rhetoric. Farrakhan once called Hitler "a very great man."

I've always valued you as sort of my moral compass when it comes to understanding racial issues. I was moved when I heard you speak in Oakland. I just want you to be aware, that as a Jewish person, I find this sort vitriol unacceptable. It should be condemned as such.

If a person supports anti-semites then they are likely anti-Semitic. If a person attends rallies in which anti-Semitic speeches are being preached and they cheer then they are anti-semetic, no matter how many tweets of brotherhood they tweet. You cannot have it both ways.
