I follow you Shaun and I support your activism and your message. To be fair, speaking from experience as a police officer, this happens. It has happened to me. I pressed record on my body cam. The red light was on and it was vibrating. It recorded nothing.

Amazing, all the things we can do but we can't seem to have a simple camera work.

Body cameras are a tool, IMO the most important move would be to change the guidelines for acceptable use of deadly force, the reason so many officers escape accountability is b/c all they have to demonstrate is that they felt threatened

... You're right, my friend -- fortunately, the body camera video images I demanded in my discovery demands survived and I obtained them -- most, anyway, ...

Amazing how they don’t work in these situations, what kind of warranty was purchased with those cameras......and how do the cameras keep turning off in these situations but seem to work fine when the non-cop is in the wrong....

If they ever realize one of these cameras “isn’t working” the officer should have to go back to the station until operable

Did u read story, was more than enough other video to get the story, resisting, interfering, come on, dont just hate cause u like it, educate yourself about the situation, including laws. Dont jump if front of a officer dealing with a situation because its your brother.

It needs to be impossible to turn them off. If the camera fails a self-test then the officer is off-duty and back to the station house. Not watching cops pee can be dealt with at review time.
