The teacher I am says: We need to make sure those with a history of violent crimes cannot get access to any type of gun. We need to ban semi-automatic assault weapons and bump stocks. We need to pass universal background checks and close the gun show loophole fiasco! Sad!
Over a dozen different families of victims from the school shooting in Florida have now reported that they have received regular death threats since the shooting. This is how ugly this country is. They lost loved ones. And are now receiving death threats.

Teachers are intellectuals. Educators of our children. They are not the police. They should NOT be armed

Teachers being armed is bad idea. The police r not trained to deal with this (if they were there would be no need for SWAT or tactical teams) so it’s just ridiculous to think a teacher should be capable. Besides, ya need to stop treating the symptoms & start fighting the disease.
