Absolutely not you would be killed on the spot no questions

Shit I’m nervous to even have a weapon legally outside of a military institution when encountering cops. & I’m in the Military

Think harder folks. This is either just the latest of Trumps absurd ideas...OR.... a set up for something worse. Teachers aren't going to go along with this. The next step would be *privatizing* school "defense". Enter Erik Price and his private death squads.
-
That could be what lay beneath his sister Betsy De Vos' smile during the WH "listening sessions". Billions more in federal contracts for the family, and "control" over the unruly public element she so despises.
-
Remember Prince is desperate for a contract after losing out on Afghanistan, and that they've already proposed some months ago that he form up a private army and private intelligence service using federal cash, but answerable only to Trump.
-
Now imagine Trump and the GOP feeling even further pursued by justice, facing a landslide loss at the polls. And they will have America's children hostage. Pure mafia. Pure dictator. Pure Trump.

ESPECIALLY in FL. Can't have "Stand Your Ground" laws AND teachers packing heat in classrooms.

Scary AF. Arming teachers and puttinh them in the position where they may Have to kill their current or former students is the WORST idea ever.

At my LAUSD school, we do not have metal detectors. We do have 2 armed police officers, random metal wand searches, occasional drug sniffing dogs, and a locked chain link fence. They are policing our students, not protecting them.

I've been saying this all along if they pass this. More Black youths will die.

Professionally trained law enforcement have a difficult time in handling a correct way to go about using a firearm and they want to have teachers armed to protect kids in school now. Sounds very imbecilic to me.
-
It will be another missed opportunity. Instead of a conversation on the training police need to confront problems in the communities they serve. We get arm the teachers. While proper police training and response methods serve us all.

This is my fear, too. Allowing for self selection, schools will end up with the gung ho Zimmerman types who want to carry a weapon. It will only be a matter of time before some kid gets shot by one of these people.

Not only that Sean, but seeing a Black man (or woman) with a gun, despite being a teacher or principal authorized to carry a weapon would put targets on their backs as well. All police would see are Black people with guns.

That's exactly what my wife was talking about. When teachers get upset
with students disrupting the class, they are going to get SHOT
. Teachers with guns is the WORST idea possible. How about armed guards that aren't afraid of engaging the shooter.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
