South Africa's new President announces his intent to take back farm land. Listen to me. This needs to happen. Black South Africans represent 79% of the nation, but only own 1.2% of the farm land. This is not OK. It was stolen during colonization & apartheid.pic.twitter.com/LqXP88cut0

Yes but unless there’s a full skills training plan in place, we will end up like Zimbabwe but there were no skills transfer to ensure farms continue to run properly and these new farmers know@what to do With their land #SouthAfrica

Agreed. It should be a comprehensive program with a plan that works. However, they should not have that land.

I live here and my mom’s South African I know the history well. It’s long overdue and a brave move from @CyrilRamaphosa. It’s disgusting to see no change since apartheid for the majority of the black population. The water crisis of showering in buckets is daily life for most Blks

They already have sold SA to the so-called foreign investors. A civil war would break out if South Africans found out the faces behind these "foreign investors" funding the ANC. It also seems as though these investors benefit while the locals don't at all.

We also have to remember sanctions hurt Zimbabwe more than anything. The inability to get farm equipment and fuel and financing was crippling. The workers know what they’re doing, it’s not like the land owners were working the land.

Shaun are you aware of two historical truths. Land settled by whites in the Cape regions had no archeological evidence of ever being inhabited by Africans, it was uninhabited by anyone. 2nd, whites purchased land from the Zulu’s legally, it was never stolen under colonialism.

It isn’t a lie it is a documented historical fact. Go do some research and you will find out when the Dutch first arrived in the Cape Region no Bantu tribes had ever lived there, ever. Later the British bought land from the Zulu King to live on. These are all historical facts.
