I’ve always thought that my student athletes have it so much harder than regular students. But this explicit articulation of their exploitation makes me think they should refuse the NCAA and go straight pro—and *later* go to college if they want.
In 6 different cases where former NCAA athletes have sued to have their work either paid under work study or minimum wage, the NCAA has cited in their response one nefarious case: Vanskike v.
